Dear DES Parents,

Dade Elementary School has been notified by the Georgia Department of Education that we have achieved Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) for the 2007-2008 school year. AYP addresses the Georgia component of the No Child Left Behind Act, which is a federal education mandate. The annual measurable objective (amo) percentage for the Reading/Language Arts portion of the CRCT is 73.3% and the amo for the Math portion of the CRCT is 59.5%.
